I drove up Mt. Evans, where my dad spent some of his childhood. I couldn’t make it to the top because part of the road was closed, but it was a beautiful drive.
Then, I went to the cemetery where my grandma is buried. My grandfather is buried there, too, but I never knew him.

I also think I found my grandma’s second husband and my uncle.
After that, I drove by my dad’s house where he grew up. He wondered if they still had the apple shutters. They did. Check out the photo below.

In the evening, I went to a concert at the Red Rocks Amphitheater. The band was Get the LED Out, which is a Led Zeppelin cover band. I’m not a huge fan, but it’s a wonderful venue. More importantly, the people watching was amazing.
